Meet the Team

Hi, I'm Sharnae, the founder of The SML Edits. For me, planning an event has never been just about logistics. It's about seeing a story through from the first spark of an idea to the final, perfect detail.

My journey here has taken some interesting turns. I spent six years in the Army National Guard, including a year deployed to the Middle East, where I learned how to plan with precision and stay calm when things get complicated. I've worked in both the corporate and federal government worlds, and I'm currently in law school, with my degree on the way in Spring 2027. Each of these chapters taught me something I bring to your event: discipline, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the trust you place in me.

I'm just getting started, and I pour everything into this work because I love it. The final product is always worth the care and dedication behind it, and there's nothing I enjoy more than watching a vision come to life.

I'm building something meaningful here — something that blends big-picture thinking with hands-on experience. That vision sets the tone for everything I do.
